Pets are going to be a big help to your Sword Master along their journey! You will be able to unlock your first pet once you reach stage 8. This stage has a unique boss called Kage – inside you will be able to rescue Nova. Nova will unlock the Pet tab, which allows you to see all the pets you have unlocked. You will see that Nova is now equipped, giving you a bonus for both Pet Damage and All Damage!

You are now ready to begin attacking titans using your Pet. Tap on your screen to charge up your pet, and they will attack to deal a large amount of damage to the titan. You will be able to gain other pets via pet eggs every four hours so you may have other options to choose from if you leave the game and come back. You'll continue to unlock new pets as you progress through the game via the milestones. To level your pets you will need to collect pet XP. Each level for a pet is 100 XP. You can collect pet XP from pet eggs and your Pet Quests.

Each pet has a unique boost to offer. This boost works in full while you have them selected. Additionally, once you reach level five with your pet, a passive bonus will be activated -- you will receive a portion of their boost even when not selected. Continue to level them up to 100 and their passive bonus will be equal to their equipped bonus!
